After the Storm Breaks

After the Storm Breaks is a powerful story of resilience, the weight of history, and the courage it takes to live honestly. About the Author

Remy St. John is a writer of contemporary romance featuring complex characters navigating identity, emotional depth, and the kind of love that rebuilds lives after the worst storms. A Louisiana native, St. John was a resident of New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and has resided on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, a place that became home through his own love, loss, and rediscovery.

Remy's debut novel After the Storm Breaks explores enemies-to-lovers journeys, cultural clashes, coming-out arcs, interracial love, and the power of chosen family. Readers can expect high-heat chemistry, tender vulnerability, and happily-ever-afters that feel earned and authentic.

When not writing about men falling in love in the Deep South, Remy enjoys researching family trees, making scrapbooks and spending time with his partner at home in Baton Rouge and Chicago, and their two corgis (Beauregard and Bella).
